Camino del Norte
Easy day today…20 km in the sunshine to the town of Pontevedra. We left Redondela around 7:00am and walked mostly on pavement..it was cold this morning until the sun gained some power…12C.
We are now on the only path of the Camino Portugues which means that the coastal route and the central route converge… plus all the people who are walking only the final 100km makes for a much busier path. Tonight we are in the municipal albergue with 56 beds all full.
We shared a pilgrim meal with a couple from Vernon plus a lady from NZ, new friends we met today.
My feet are sore again with blisters that make the walking less fun. Donna just keeps on going while I am happy to have shorter days. Only 70 km or so to Santiago.
